TRIP INTRODUCTION

Everest base camp has been the major lifetime adventure point for most of the people because of its spectacular beauty, panoramic view of mountains and the warm company of sherpas. To experience this utterly beautiful nature we will take you through the ancient trails i.e. through the steps of Khumbu region.

Everest has been famous among the expedition lovers since the very first expedition of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953. This expedition can easily be accomplished by beginners to the very experienced trekkers. For this journey, we will be taking almost half of the routes of Gokyo lake and Chola Pass Trekking. The journey may be difficult but nature and scenery you explore throughout the routes will mesmerize your entire journey. You will encounter various beauties such as ancient Buddhist monasteries, different flora & faunas (rhododendron, magnolia, and giant firs etc), stony trail passes and the magnificent display of peaks on your way to the camp.

Among all the treks available in Himalayas Everest Base Camp is most famous and epic one.Your very first journey will be started from the air to Lukla. The views of mountain such as Mt. Langtang Ri, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Ama Dablam and Everest and typical Sherpa villages are just breathtaking. This destination is slightly dangerous because of its high altitude climb but we take you through the route of normal altitude climb i.e. Kala Patthar. The route is warm and enjoyable to any level of trekkers with an excellent view of the Himalayan region.

In the event the flight is canceled we will attempt to get you on a chartered helicopter but you are responsible for the extra costs in this event which can range from $200 to $600 or more depending on the number of people on the flight.

We in some itinerary schedule one extra day into the trek already as a buffer day in case of delays and in some Itineraries do not have extra day after trek but as flights can at times be delayed for several days we suggest you add a couple of extra days at the end of your trip in case of any delays. Extra days should always be scheduled at the end of the trip and not the start.

Important Notes and Safety Concerns

Trekking is simply not just walking. Some of our trips are extremely adventurous and needs serious efforts to complete them successfully. We kindly request all our valuable guests to come well prepared before doing any of these extreme treks. Buying proper and reliable insurance coverage with Helicopter Evacuation on emergency is the most important thing before starting the adventures. Sometimes, our treks are done in extremely remote places where you will have no access to outer world. On serious injuries or sickness Helicopter can be the only mean to evacuate you. In other hand bad weather conditions can also ruin the whole adventures. So, we say

"Get prepared first and enjoy the adventure without worrying"

The reason for naming it KalaPatthar is because the place is full of black stones. From there you will see the perfect and clearer view of Mt. Everest between two mountains, the reason for people calling Mt. Everest as the shy mountain. Then leaving this beauty behind you will be heading towards Pheriche through the Gorakshep. The path will be same as we follow the trail of Thukla. The downward roads are easy to cover than the uphill roads. At Pheriche, you will be spending your night quietly.
