Paradise to the trekkers all around the globe, Nepal attracts a flow of Tourists every year.  Hundreds and thousands of peaks make Nepal a real home of mountaineers and trekkers. In Nepal, anything below  6000m is known as Hill or danda. There are a lot of popular treks around the world that have gained attention from climbers around the world. 

Also, the climbers climb on the peaks like Island Peak (Imja Tse), Mera Peak to climb mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Annapurna.  These peaks are not less than ordinary mountains. Annually, Everest Base Camp trek receives the highest number of trekkers and climbers from all around the world. For so reason, Everest Base Camp Trek has been classified as one of the top 10 trekking destination by Lonely Planet, and other major sources of information like BBC and National Geographic. The Government has been uplifting practices and promoting to increase the number of tourists in these peaks and mountains to improve the conditions for trekkers.  For some reason that a peak that is highest in some continents that are no longer bigger than the average Nepali Hill. 

According to the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), they have classified peak ranging from 5849m to 6584m as trekking peaks. This will decrease the rate of the permit as a trekking peak than in the mountains. They will be easily available to obtain and cost lesser.
